It’s been an absolute pleasure working on "Pavement" a short film brought to the screen by Jason Wingard, Award winning director of Eaten by Lions & Producer Hannah Stevenson
Working alongside actors Steve Evets (Pirates of the Caribbean, Robbin hood, Looking for Eric) and Liz white (woman in black, life on Mars etc.) has been such an incredible and humbling experience that I’ll never forget.
The past few days have been long but completely worth every moment, having the opportunity to work on costume, art department, running as well as having the opportunity to work with the actors calling action for certain senes and actors has been the greatest experience, tackling a very emotional and powerful subject of homelessness throughout, we had many passers by who believed this was a real scenario and attempted to get involved was so beautiful and humbling to see, you people restored my faith in humanity wholeheartadly.
The film focuses on the epidemic of homelessness in the UK - partially funded by the Uncertain Kingdom project, This project barely scratches the surface of the real life social issues represented in the film, but hopefully it can be used as a tool to inspire change and create conversations around this taboo subject.
An update on the film will be coming very soon as well as a larger write up on the production and the experiance.
